Limoncello Cream

Lemons have always been very important in my life. I remember my dad would always take me
under a lemon tree we had in our garden and he would say “I love lemons”.

So here’s some limoncello cream me and Livio made with fresh lemons picked directly from our trees.
This is not the simple Limoncello, it’s a cream, and I must say it’s much better.

Limoncello Cream

8 lemons
1l. of alcool
1 kg. and 600 of sugar
400 gr. of heavy cream
1 gr. of vanillin
2 small cups of Cognac
2l. of long-life milk

Leave the lemon peels in alcool for ten days. Then boil milk together with sugar and vanillin.
While you do that you must stir the milk constantly and once it boils turn it off and leave to cool down.
Once it’s cold, add the heavy cream (not whipped) and the filtered Cognac.
Ok the best part, fill the best bottles you have in your home, we found these really nice ones in Livio’s home, I’m in love.
